Autumn mood 🍁 Most of Cape Town doesn’t really experience a very drastic autumn. But then you drive into the Newlands area and suddenly everything is orange and yellow and red and brown. It makes me so happy. I spent the first five years of my life in Europe, and one of my most distinct memories I have is running through and collecting the colorful leaves at a local park. Autumn has always brought me so much joy!

Your child placing their head on your chest, because you are their safe haven- Possibly the best thing in the world.

Autumn is here and I’m so excited about shooting in these pretty colors! 🍂🍁

The best thing to hold on to in life, is each other.

I was showing my hubby some pictures from this shoot, and he told me it looked like they were taken at a forest in America. The ones we grow up seeing on summer camp themed movies. Of course he knew that they were in fact taken a 5 minute drive from our home. And flip, that makes me feel so lucky. This little piece of heaven on earth, right in our ‘backyard’. I’ll never grow tired of shooting there ✨
